Shorten your time to sale with Staging

Before you list your property for sale, ask a REALTOR® or design professional to objectively review the condition and styling. While you may feel resistance to spending money on redecorating and staging before you list, in fact you will actually increase your profit if you choose to stage your property. A property with some decorating updates and flattering staging will sell faster, and you will lessen the chances that you will have to reduce your price later.

Check out this Staging Calculator from the Real Estate Staging Association to see how you may benefit. Enter your current mortgage payment amount, carrying costs (utilities, HOA fees, landscaping costs), and the amount you anticipate spending as Staging Fee, then click CALCULATE. You will see what it costs you NOT to stage, and what you stand to profit if you DO stage before you list.

What do you think of the staging concept? I would love to read your feedback.

Thanks!
Julie
